The orchestra's history
They'd already known eachother for a long time, more or less through their respective groups… When, all of a sudden ! One of them said to another : " Hey ! What if we did something together with that other guy ! You know what I mean ! ". And the other said : " Oh yeh ! A thing taking bits of things and we'd paste other things on top, yeh ! You know what I mean ! "… And then they went to ask the other guy if he was interested in cutting up things, copying other things and pasting them together with other things … And the other guy was really into that thing ! Since then, the three of them have been composing, cutting, playing, pasting, mixing and remixing. And all that in joyous, good spirits … nearly always… it depends if the f***in' computer accepts to keep the data until a disc is cut and if it wouldn't mind going just a little bit quicker, please Mr. Computer ! Pretty please !The orchestra's musical style
Well, as far as musical style is concerned, they don't really give themselves a style, seeing that they're all three a bit " anti-labels ", … So, listen to their music (Kadah/Vresky presents Tomato Weirdo : " Best Before End + Toujours Comestible " CLONE records 2002) and judge for yourself. The orchestra's future
For the future, they're dying to make an original sound track for a film, to make music for cartoons or for video games … They wouldn't mind giving live performances for exhibitions, fashion shows or original things like that …The orchestra apart from that
Apart from that, that's it. They're working on their coming projects and that's it.Reviews
Belgian group Kadah/Uresky’s debut album is a great mix of downtempo and upbeat. From the mesmerizingly melodic combo of “La Salle de Bain,” “Living” 2 through 0, and “Cookroom”—all of which are jazzy, hip-hop inspired pieces—to the gritty, sample-filled tracks that follow, this is delicious music.
